Survive Water Crisis

Survive Water Crisis Click Here!

This is the worst drought since 1936 in the Midwest. We all need to be prepared.

Here are a few things you can do right now to help.
1. Conserve water
Make inexpensive rain barrels to collect water, if it does rain. I hope soon!
If you are unable to make rainbarrels, set out large buckets and pans to collect rainwater.
Water only the most important areas of your yard, such as gardens for food, and young trees.
    Water in the early mornings.
2. When changing pet drinking water, pour the old water into a bucket to water gardens or indoor plants.
3. Set out clean water for wild birds and wildlife. They are having a hard time right now.
4. Set your washing mashine and dishwasher on the shortest cycles. Clothes and dishes will still be clean.
Add Distilled White Vinegar to rinse cycles to help with cleaning. It also cleans out the appliance.

If you have water that needs to be filtered to make it safe to drink, I found some very reasonably priced water filtration devices on http://www.moreprepared.com/affiliate/redir.php?id=1229_1.
